Jameson Rolls Out Two New Caskmates Collaborations

Jameson is teaming up with two American craft breweries—Bale Breaker Brewery in Yakima, Washington, and Revolution Brewing in Chicago—on their latest Caskmates releases, which they’re calling the Jameson Caskmates Hyperlocal Limited Editions. Brewers from both breweries travelled to Ireland to brew their beers, which were then used to season Jameson barrels. The barrels were then filled with Jameson’s triple-distilled blend resulting in a liquid that has been “patiently finished in local craft beer-seasoned barrels.”

“Jameson’s commitment to local neighbourhoods is the cornerstone of our connection with whiskey drinkers and local tastemakers, across the country,” said Paul Di Vito, vice president of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Pernod Ricard USA, in a prepared statement. “Jameson Caskmates Hyperlocal Editions allow us to put the spotlight on these local breweries, devising a spirit that embodies the taste of our neighbourhoods.”

Irish Whiskey Auctions awarded All-Ireland Business All-Star accreditation

Irish Whiskey Auctions (IWA) – a Dundalk based business has achieved a quality mark signifying it meets the highest standards of service and trust and becomes one of the first whiskey-based businesses to achieve this accreditation. IWA was awarded the coveted All-Ireland Business All-Star accreditation on Thursday 12th September at an awards ceremony held in Croke Park. What makes this achievement even greater is that the business is only celebrating its first year in business in October next.

Dr Hynes said the accreditation, which is now held by over 350 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by. “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors,” she said. “We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience.
